2026 Umpire Registration - How to Get Started
Interested in becoming an umpire this season with Welland Minor Baseball? Whether you're brand new or returning, there is a new registration and certification process for 2026 through the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) that all umpires must follow.
Step-by-Step Registration Process

Start by going to the official OBA registration page:

Create or Log In to Your Account
- If you are new, create a RegisterOBA account
- If you are returning, log in to your existing account

Enroll as a 2026 Umpire
- All umpires must register for the 2026 season
- Payment of the enrollment fee is required

Complete Your Online Training Module
- Each umpire must complete the online module for their certification level
- This is mandatory for all levels

Register for an Umpire Camp
- Select and register for the appropriate umpire camp based on your level

Attend Your In-Person Camp
- Level 1 & 2 Umpires: Must attend a Level 1/2 Camp
- Level 3 Umpires: Must attend a Level 3 Super Camp
Important Notes
- This process applies to ALL umpires (new and returning)
- Certification is not complete until:
- Enrollment is submitted
- Online module is completed
- In-person camp is attended
