4U Rally Cap (On Deck / Home Plate) [Blastball]
Best suited for players who are new to baseball, the 4U Rally Cap (On Deck / Home Plate) division introduces children to the game in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure environment. The focus of this level is on developing basic movement skills while helping players feel comfortable on the field and around baseball equipment. Through playful, station-based activities, participants begin learning how to run and stop, practice basic throwing and catching, and hit balls off a tee. Coaches also emphasize listening skills, teamwork, safety, and simple field awareness. There are no scores or standings at this level; instead, the program prioritizes enjoyment, confidence, and a positive first experience with baseball.
The weekly game/practice will be 1 hour in duration and consist of approximately half instructional practice and half fun interactive game play between the teams.
Coaches will be on the field instructing throughout the 1 hour session.
