Player Development Clinics Now Open for Registration
Welland Minor Baseball is excited to offer player development clinic opportunities for players looking to build their skills, gain confidence, and continue improving throughout the 2026 season.
These clinics are designed to give players focused instruction in key areas of the game, including pitching mechanics, warm-up routines, throwing, hitting, fielding, and position-specific skill development. Sessions will be led by experienced instructors and are a great opportunity for players to receive structured coaching in a clinic-style setting.
While house league registration for the 2026 season is now closed, families can still register for available player development clinics through RAMP.
Upcoming Clinics
Instructor: Shawn Cunningham, Niagara Pitching Performance
Date: Saturday, June 20
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Trelawn Park
Ages: 10U and 11U players, birth years 2015 and 2016
Cost: $40
This three-hour clinic will focus on pitching development, including a pitching lecture, structured warm-up, pitching drills, and individual bullpens. Players will learn critical points of pitching mechanics, how to properly prepare their arms, and will have the opportunity to throw a bullpen with instruction.

Ages: 12U and 13U players, birth years 2013 and 2014

This session will provide older players with focused pitching instruction, including mechanics, warm-up routines, pitching drills, and individual bullpen work. Players will come away with a better understanding of how to prepare, develop, and improve as pitchers.
13U to 18U Smack Smack Baseball Instructional Clinic

Ages: 13U to 18U players, birth years 2008 to 2014
Cost: $30
This clinic will focus on swing and throwing mechanics, along with position-specific skill work for infield, outfield, and hitting. It is a great opportunity for older players to sharpen their fundamentals and receive additional instruction during the season.
7U to 11U Smack Smack Baseball Instructional Clinic (WAITLISTED)

Ages: 7U, 9U, and 11U players, birth years 2015 to 2020
